People visit websites using various devices like Smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop PCs. Each of these devices has different screen sizes. Responsive themes have been in use for this purpose for quite a long time. But now WordPress has come with a new feature in which the pictures don’t have to be in different sizes. An attribute ‘srcset’ is added in the anchor text of the images, which will allow the user’s browser to display the images in accordance to the device’s screen size.

Twenty Sixteen:

Twenty Sixteen is the new theme which is added in the latest version. This theme works perfectly for blogs. Options for custom colors, optional sidebars, fluid grid and additional introduction to the post are the features of this theme.

Better Embedding System:

You may have known the embedding system of Youtube videos, in which you just copy paste the embed code of the video on your website and the video is displayed there. Now you can embed a post anywhere on your website by just copying the URL of it and pasting it in the content editor.

Better Comment Design:

Some improvements are added in the comment form in the latest version. Now the name and email fields are shown after the comment field.

Quicker Customization Loading Time:

Due to some improvements, the customizer loading time has decreased. The contents of the widget bar are not displayed until you expand it. In this way, the loading time becomes 10x faster than before.
