WordPress:

•    Ownership comes free with WordPress. You have the power to decide how long you want to run your blog and when you want to put it off from the internet.
•    As we all know that WordPress is open source, you can update to the newer version and take benefit with new features.
•    If one wants to move the website to another hosting-provider, then this task can be done without any hassle. You don’t have to worry about your followers or anything else.
•    When it comes to appearance, WordPress is the best. There are thousands of free templates to choose. They are both static and responsive. You can also buy premium templates.
•    There are a lot of plugins for WordPress that can help in security. But you are solely responsible for your site’s security because it is self hosted and open-source.

Blogger:

•    Blogger is the sole property of Google. Therefore, you can’t enjoy the benefits of ownership. Google has the right to shut down your blog whenever it wants to.
•    Blogger allows it users to select a theme/template only from a limited range. But you can change the colors and layout.
•    It has limited tools that allow you to perform only specific range of tasks. Those tasks include choosing a theme, writing blog posts, viewing the analytics etc. Like WordPress, you can’t install and manage the plugins which enhance your blog.
•    There are fewer advantages available to be taken when we talk about SEO. Like you can’t use any plugin to improve the ranking.
•    By using Blogger, you don’t have to worry about the security. Google takes the responsibility of that.

If one doesn’t want to face the tech-hassles, then one should choose Blogger. But this must be kept in mind that he or she will miss a lot of features due to not choosing WordPress. It is recommended to choose WordPress development due to its robust and exceptional features.
